Meet the Midwife, Tamara Trinidad Gonzalez

Philosophy

"Empowering women through midwifery and herbal medicine is about helping them reconnect with the innate wisdom of their bodies and the natural rhythms of life. When a woman discovers her capacity to heal, nurture, and transform, she strengthens not only her own well-being, but also that of her family and community. My commitment is to preserve this knowledge, share it with integrity, and help future generations benefit from it."

Professional Midwife, Clinical Herbalist, Educator

Tamara Trinidad Gonzalez is a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM), herbalist, educator, and advocate for community-centered maternal health in Puerto Rico. For more than a decade, she has supported women and families throughout pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and women's wellness by integrating traditional herbal knowledge with evidence-informed midwifery care.

She earned her Master's degree in Midwifery from Bastyr University, one of the world's leading institutions for natural health sciences, where she also completed a Certificate in Botanical Medicine for Midwifery. Her education reflects a unique combination of rigorous academic training and deep respect for traditional plant medicine, allowing her to provide care that honors both scientific evidence and generations of ancestral wisdom.
